Imperfect-Perfect Denim SS25 Just Dropped

The first SS'25 Drop is completed and posted to the SHOP on the website.

I started this drop by working on a couple of sample shirts to get the creative juices flowing, which got me in a zone (im still creating denim pieces.... so look out for drop2).

This time around I wasn't going for perfect (as we know it), i felt more like disrupting perfection just a bit, upcycling pre-cut denim cast-offs "as is", using damaged & smoothed out in each garment, pushing forward accessible silhouettes accented with an understated edge.

The 4 patch pocket cardigan (think Adolfo, Chanel) was the starting point of inspiration, in the creation of these jackets, for this SS25 season.

Crafted from a narrow white selvedge edge denim, in a rich indigo raw denim (which has been washed), these jackets are accents with raw and merrow edges, reverse sides of the denim, chunky frayed edges and merrowed finishing. Sized L, XL & XXL, each style is one of 1.

i had this bold-ish stripe woven fabric, but it presented as a knit kinda-sorta, and i had these large leftover fabric cuttings from a thin railroad stripe denim. i had this brilliant (wink-wink) idea to merge the two together. born from this notion is a collarless jacket, tweaked from the houses golf jacket, with multi small pockets, unique cut aways and a mix of raw and finished edges. #notYourBasicDenim

so in this drop i went back to an SK 2004 pattern, the fitted vest with a deep scoop neckline, fitted it out with a pair of cargo pockets mixing the selvedge edge denim with deadstock denim jeans scraps and irregular bits ....with intent.
